Rescued from Los Angeles, via auction, during the fires. No smoky odors. This is a Vintage Pietro Perugino “Madonna” / Praying Virgin / Uffizi Gallery. Frame is absolutely exquisite in detail. Gold leaf, or similar. Textural, carved motifs. The Virgin Mary is beauteous in her serenity. She would bring peace to your environment. A lovely piece to set your gaze upon, as you recite the rosary. I can see this piece making children feel safe from the boogie man, or giving comfort to the aged, in an elder care facility.
