60s vintage purple embroidered rare leather groovy hippy mod dress zip up vest

Rare! this is an incredible purple genuine leather mini midi dress from the late 1960s with a hippy bohemian style that this era is known for. the dress features a mandarin collar, groovy embroidered thick trim detailing, and hits above the knee on the 5’6 tall model. the dress has a full front zip with an o-ring brass zipper pull (which stays raised when rested on the fabric) and it is fairly heavy as it is thick pure leather, and is fully lined. the zip closure goes all the way up the front means you can wear it as a high neck or a plunge, and can also be worn unzipped as a vest! such a cool piece of fashion history from this decade, with a mod twiggy swinging london revival vibe. the garment has no labels or sizing, but I would say this best fits womens medium or large. in excellent condition besides tiny scuffs in leather on left side of chest and minor runs in embroidery. measurements (lying flat): bust (pit to pit): 19” across waist: 16.5” across (33” when doubled) hips: 20.5” length: 35”
