70s vintage multicolor abstract print collared button up maxi dress hostess gown

Rare! this is an incredible full length maxi dress from the 1970s featuring an abstract swirly psychedelic print in bright shades of orange and blue! the statement dress features a sharp dagger collar, long puffed sleeves with two snap buttons on each sleeve cuffs, and a full button closure that goes all the way down the front with 10 fabric covered snap buttons. the long dress is made of a flowy chiffon fabric (acetate/rayon blend) which is fully lined, besides the sleeves which are slightly sheer and see through. the dress is cinched at the waist (26” waist) with no stretch, and it comes with a matching removable belt that fastens with three hidden snap buttons. this groovy dress is both sophisticated and playful, and since it fully unbuttons, I love how it can also be worn open like a long jacket over a tank top and blue jeans! would best fit size small or medium (26" waist), and dress is shown on 5'6 tall model. in great vintage condition with some thin pulls in the fabric throughout the garment, and light scuffing/marks on the belt. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 14.5” bust (pit to pit): 16” across waist: 13” across (26" when doubled) sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 25” pit to waist seam: 8” pit to bottom hem: 21” centre back length (without collar): 53.5”
