davo_1962 @rjaffemontana yes, keeps perfect time. I have the receipt for a “watch kit” applied recently. The watch was in storage for 35 years.

davo_1962 @rjaffemontana I think it’s just a term for installing a battery. The store where I bought the battery removed the back of the watch and installed the battery for me. If I would’ve just bought a battery (w/o installation), the price would’ve been only about $6 instead of the $17 that I paid.

rjaffemontana Interesting. I'm thinking of investing in a battery changing kit for that reason. I used to work in a jewelry store and replaced batteries in watches. It's not rocket science but one does need the right tools. The most important thing I learned was not to say whoops when working on someone's Lassale. Ha! Looking forward to wearing this watch. I forgot to ask how long the band is. I have an average wrist.

davo_1962 @rjaffemontana haha, I bought the watch tool kit from Amazon after I had this battery and 2 swatch battery’s changed. I think I only paid less than $6 for it (now that I’ve sold most of our extra. watches ha).

davo_1962 @rjaffemontana I’m not sure on the band length, but my wife’s wrist is average also and I think it had a few notches to spare on both sides.
