Kimel Sabots Rare Vintage Wooden Sculptural Collectible Platform Heel w/Toe Taps

These vintage platforms are extremely rare and are a must have addition for your shoe collection! What an amazing conversation piece these would make...If these shoes could talk, I bet they would have stories that would make a sailor blush. We shape our Sabots like modern sculpture, cantilevered to make you look like you are about to take off. Each Sabot is individually cut out of Mountain Pine, reinforced with hardwood strips, (the stripe running through the bottom) then dipped in fine aniline dye and coated with clear Egyptian Lacquer to seal in the colors. You can wear Sabots in really cold weather with striped or colored wool socks and panty hose. Experiment with different looks- like fake tattoos. Just have a good time- that's what we had in mind for you." Sculptural, wooden platform heel with a camel color leather strap attached with large silver studs and metal heel and toe taps on the sole. I cant determine the actual size of these but think they may be a size 5 looking at the worn size printed on the bottom. I believe these are in exceptionally good condition for their age. The only known flaws are a light separation in the wood on the back of the left sandal and some nicks and scratches from normal wear.
