Vintage 50’s Bonzo the Dog Salt and Pepper Shakers , Japan

Vintage 50’s Adorable Bonzo Cartoon Dog Salt and Pepper Shakers, stamped JAPAN on the bottom. From the 1950's. One says I'm Pep the other says I'm Salt. Darling little white, tan and black pug dogs with orange-red tongues and gold on their paws. Bonzo is the famous cartoon character created by George Studdy, UK. Factory flaws include rough areas and paint specks. Some of the cold painted areas are worn including the gold on the paws. They each measure 3" tall x 2.5" wide. One is missing the cork stopper.
