Looking at the construction- do you think a tailor could take the waist out a little to make it bigger? I’m very narrow but straight in the waist and I’ve had luck with this on other garments but it’s hard to guess on this one.

@lnw9z I can take a look, but I am not sure that would be sequins where it is taken out. Looking at the design, I do think that there is more wiggle room since the back is mostly open to the waist.

@lnw9z Update! The situation is not as dire as I thought it was! I added a couple more pics: 1) measurement of the seam from the interior. There are sequins. This is on the top right by the waist where there isn’t a lining. 2) I laid the dress flat and was more careful taking the waist measurement..it’s the last pic. Also, the lining has a little bit of stretch to it, which allows some give at the waist.. Even if you don’t get this dress, I know so much more about it now! 😂

@lnw9z Ugh! I messed up the format of the pic so reloaded it…. It’s like 14.25”-14.5” and that’s without the extra give.
