Y2K Pollini Italy Luxury Leather & Silk Moto Jacket, Orange, Runway Piece, NWOT

This Pollini piece is gorgeous and is one of a kind. It was a runway piece in the early 2000’s (sometime between 2002-2004, I think?) The jacket is a streamlined cafe racer style and is made of a hand dyed leather & silk exterior. I’m unsure of what the lining is made of. It’s lightweight and has two functional hidden front pockets at either side of the pink silk panels. I bought this piece at a Pollni sample sale when I was a small size thinking I’d get smaller but the bust was always too small. Note that it’s pictured on a size 2 dress form. The bust will best fit a 30-32” band size. It was too snug on me as a 34C. The tag reads US8 but it’s more like a 0/2 Measurements are approximate: -Bust measures 16” flat -Waist measures 14” flat -Sleeves 23.25” long -Shoulder to shoulder 16” -Length is 21” The jacket is in excellent condition. Worn for a short amount of time during the Pollini runway show and I’ve tried it in a few times. It’s otherwise not been worn. The leather was hand dyed and what might seem like imperfections in the leather are naturally occurring.
