anneholifield4 can you tell me in general where the defects are? it doesn't have dry rot does it?

debarter Does not have dry rot. There about 12 small holes size of ladybug in the black section and a couple scattered in the paisley part. This belonged to my great aunt who I think might have used as a curtain as there is a sleeve sewn on one edge of reverse side. You don't see it from the front. There are places on the edges of the Shawl that are frayed.But if you are planning on draping it over a white tablecloth, then these small holes might be more visible. It is very old and lovely
