Gorgeous vintage emerald green enamel and sterling silver butterfly brooch by David-Andersen. Andersen was a Norwegian goldsmith who established his own company in 1876. He won awards for his innovative designs and excellent craftsmanship. In 1942, the name was hyphenated as is the signature on this piece. It is marked: DAVID-ANDERSEN Norway Sterling 925S The brooch is in excellent vintage condition
