'French Kiss' is the solo debut album by former Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist Bob Welch. The album features guest appearances by former Fleetwood Mac bandmates Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and Welch's successor, singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. Christine McVie and Buckingham were also co-producers on the project.
The album spawned three hit singles: 'Ebony Eyes' (with backing vocals by Juice Newton), climbed to #14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100; a revised version of Fleetwood Mac's 'Sentimental Lady' (written by Welch), soared to #8; and 'Hot Love, Cold World' peaked at #31.
'French Kiss' peaked at #12 on the US Billboard 200 and
later went platinum. It is Welch's best-selling album.
