Rockabilly doesn't always mean cherry pattern and bandanas. This pastel blue sack dress with matching jacket is simply adorable and just screams 1950's / 1960's Rockabilly! The textile of the dress is a thin polyester that is reminiscent of the beautiful nightgowns of the era (it's definitely something you'll want to wear a slip under as it is barely sheer). The dress is cut in a straight sack style with light pleating at the breast bone, right where it connects with a layer of lace. The lace is a pattern of daisies and is a great match to the dress. The sleeves are also made of lace and will fall mid bicep. The opening of the sleeve is wide and there is pleating at the shoulder to have a bit of poof, without a shoulder pad. The dress with fall around knee length, zips up the back. The jacket is made primarily of the lace and is cut straight & hip length. The shoulders are structured & will fall just below the elbow. The jacket is open. Both the dress and jacket are in fantastic vintage condition with no holes, tears, or stains. The only notable flaw is that the original belt is missing- but any strip of lace should be a perfect match. Measurements are taken flat and then doubled where appropriate. This is a vintage 12, so please use the measurements as a guide.
