Hand Tailored Forstmann Fabric Black Wool Coat with Brown Mink Collar and Cuffs - Vintage 1950s-1960s This is a fabulous coat - Black fabric (I assume it is wool since Forstmann was know for it's fine wools) The inside labels read "Jaison's McKeesport Braddock" and Stevens Forstmann Fabric Bengalora - but there is NO SIZE or fabric label. The coat has a brown mink collar, 3 oversized buttons down the front and a snap at the neckline. There are slit pockets on each side and the coat has a fully black satin-like (not sure of the material) lining. The sleeves are a 3/4 length with mink cuffs. Traditionally worn with long gloves. This is a warm and heavyweight coat weighing about 6 pounds. Measurements taken laying flat: 22" armpit to armpit 36" seam at back collar to hem 21" from seam at neck 32" sweep measured across bottom hem (not doubled) ESTIMATED to fit a size large / X-large size. This coat is in excellent vintage condition but has some tears noted on the inside lining at the underarms and in the center as can be seen in photos.
