krinden @lyndihanna Hi! They is a layer of breathable padding that lines the inside the boot. I attached another picture to the listing to show this better. My feet have never gotten cold in them, but I'm not sure I would say they are truly insulated? They are not heavy to wear. I do not feel a noticeable weight when wearing. They feel pretty light.
