A collectible piece showcasing artistry and craftsmanship. Carved Walnuts, likely from the end of the Qing Dynasty, China. Known as Hediao in Chinese, these carvings are made from walnuts. The carvings depict numerous figures of Luohan Arhats (enlightened Buddhist Sages). The art of carving became popular in 960, during the Song Dynasty.
