New without tags - these vintage items were never used (*though there is one snag in the table runner, it came like this!, described below). Beautiful, detailed table runner and 8 place mats depicting Christmas angels - the Herald Angels, playing their instruments and welcoming Christ to the world. Background color is a lovely deep evergreen. The placemats have the same angels as the ones depicted on the runner, on the front sides, and rich deep red on the reverse side. Vintage. I am unsure of the source, but I found it among many, many other vintage items my mother collected her whole life - until she stopped adding items about 35 years ago, leading me to think that this is at least as old as mid-1980s and likely from a lot earlier. In perfect condition ***except for the run noted between the second and third angels, close-up shown in picture #4.*** Also please note that the run looks big in the closeup, but is practically invisible in the full-length pic #2. Runner is approximately 35" long and 12.5” wide. Place mats are approximately 17”w x >12.5”h.
