W. V. Schider served in the U.S. Navy, and his vintage uniform is still around.
It's off-white and has stains and smells like a basement, but that adds character to a vintage set that was worn and then stored for decades. It looks like a piece you'd find in a museum.
The uniform is yellowed with age and has stains. They need a good cleaning, but it felt wrong for me to wash the years off my grandfather's military uniforms. For decades, they've been stored in a basement, and now they're ready to move to a home that will appreciate them in a collection or as part of a reenactment costume. W. V. Schilder would be happy to see these put to good use if he were still around.

@llamaspit Hi there! This uniform is lovely. I was wondering if you could get any rough measurements, like say how wide the waist on the pants & how long? Thank you. 🙂

@lunathehimmie Thanks for your interest. The waist is 16.5 inches wide and pant legs are 41.5 inches long. The pit to pit chest measurement on the shirt is 22 inches. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@llamaspit Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! Would you be open to any offers, or is the price pretty firm?
