50s - 60s Vintage White USA Navy Sailor Uniform Shirt, Pants, Hat.

W. V. Schider served in the U.S. Navy, and his vintage uniform is still around. It's off-white and has stains and smells like a basement, but that adds character to a vintage set that was worn and then stored for decades. It looks like a piece you'd find in a museum. The uniform is yellowed with age and has stains. They need a good cleaning, but it felt wrong for me to wash the years off my grandfather's military uniforms. For decades, they've been stored in a basement, and now they're ready to move to a home that will appreciate them in a collection or as part of a reenactment costume. W. V.
