Vintage 1940's maroon dyed ranched mink fur cape coat by MONNIG'S FORT WORTH. Made in the USA. This vintage timeless gem is in impeccable mint condition, the owner of this coat most likely only wore it a handful of times. Two wide arm slits. High neck collar that can be worn down or up. Triple hook and eye closure on the front. Shorter on the front and longer down the back. The lining is beautiful shimmering brown. The initials "G.L.B" are engraved in the lining and there is a small hidden pocket behind them. This is a ranched female mink fur, the pellets are smaller and the fur is softer. The cape is very light in weight but warm. One size fits all. Laying flat measures: Across shoulders: 17" Across the bottom: 36.5" Down the back: 26.5"
