Vintage Lord & Taylor Edelweiss Real Kid Leather & Silk Gloves in Ivory - Size 7

This is a true vintage - 1940s, 1950s - pair of real kid leather & silk gloves, made in France by Guibert Freres for Lord & Taylor. Lord & Taylor was a high-end department store known for importing fine European fashion in the early-to-mid 20th century. Guibert Frères was a French manufacturer renowned for producing high-quality leather gloves and accessories. Their products remain cherished by vintage fashion enthusiasts for their exceptional quality and design. In line with their age, there is some wear on these gloves throughout with some of the fingers tips roughed up and two very small slits in leather (not really visible to the naked eye, see photos). Of note: there is NO stretch in these. Make sure these will fit you if you're planning to wear. They are certainly a beautiful collector's item for any vintage lover, even if you don't plan to wear!
