This chic tote is crafted of Louis Vuitton monogram embossed calfskin leather in black. The bag features rolled leather top handles, an optional leather shoulder strap, and polished brass hardawre. The top is open to a partitioned grey fabric interior with a central zipper compartment and patch pockets. It has wear and tear - but thankfully because of the excellent craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton, it still looks amazing and is a gorgeous bag. It has marks / stains / handle wear on the glazing (trim) / etc - please look at the pics carefully. None are not even noticeable while carrying - IMO. But if you’re looking for a perfect bag, this isn’t it. Ask questions and zoom in on pics - I think I did a good job capturing the flaws.

emilyplay @pdxjennifer hi, it’s the glaze on the handles - the coating applied where the leather handles are stitched together. I personally didn’t notice until I went to take pics to list since it wasn’t noticeable while carrying / using the bag.

pdxjennifer @emilyplay great thanks for the answer about the handles. Another question, I’m not super familiar with the style. Is the shape firmer or is it pretty soft. I realize this can change with wear, too. Thanks so much!

emilyplay @pdxjennifer it’s not super floppy - the pics of the bag are taken without anything inside holding the shape. But it’s not super structured / rigid like the On The Go style. The leather (empreinte) on this one is nice and soft though. Does that help?

pdxjennifer @emilyplay yes! Just what I’m looking for-something kind of in between. Last question, ther than the handle, which you have explained, I don’t see any huge flaws. I see a few small scratches in the leather, a few stains in the lining, am I missing anything in the pictures?

emilyplay @pdxjennifer you are correct! The coating on the handles are the biggest flaw (which can be fixed by LV or other leather repair shops), and then a few scratches on the leather, and small stains inside. It’s definitely been well loved, but still looks good IMO!
