Produced from 1937-1950's by iconic bone china maker Sadler of England, this fantastic Pink Rosebud ceramic tea set will add romantic charm to your mornings or gatherings. Blooming pink roses with a single bud and trio of leaves is accented with trails of gold on a creamy ivory background which is richly gilded from top to bottom. A secure lid, straining spout and matching cream pitcher and sugar bowl are ideal for shabby chic, English countryside and romantic Victorian motifs. The Pink Rosebud pattern was produced the peak of Sadler's storied run and is highly sought after, design #2790. In great vintage condition. Gold trim is 97%< intact. Very mild crazing in spots, no chips or cracks. Very light wear for a set that is at least 75 years old. Teapot and sugar bowl signed 2790 Q, cream pitcher signed 2790 D.
