@maryadorns Hi Mary I’m so sorry I am just getting back to you now. I would say the material is a suede. I am not sure if it really or faux I am not the original buyer of the purse. I can tell the design on the purse is hand painted and signed.

The strap going across measures from outside to outside 6 inches. From the middle top on the outside to the top of the inside is 2 1/2 inches. It does have an adjustable crossbody strap that is removable. The full length of the strap is 11.7 inch. I’m 53 and I have the strap all the way out and it’s hitting me below my waist as a Crossbody.
