A classic envelope design, this gorgeous gold handbag features a snap-top closure in an exaggerated long, narrow shape. Outer material is a chic metallic gold faux leather. Top closure snaps securely. Both exterior & lining are spotless, and this purse is in excellent condition for its age. There is very slight discoloration on the top of the metal trim, which is only visible on close inspection. The vintage shop I bought this from said it was from the 1960s, but there are no brand labels to confirm that. I added the acrylic tortoise-shell-linked strap, and it’s easily removable if you prefer to carry this as a true clutch. It’s a perfect bag for a night out at the bar or a gala.
