The cel has been hand-signed by Animation Legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). A Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity is included. Gossamer made his first appearance in the hilarious 1946 Chuck Jones- directed Merrie Melodies short Hare-Raising Hare where Bugs Bunny repeatedly "disposes" of the monster. This image of Gossamer measures approximately 5" x 8.75" and is placed on a special print background that includes his shadow, and the image as well as the print background measures approximately 11" x 13". The image of Gossamer is based on an original Chuck Jones drawing. The cel is in Fine condition with light handling but not noticeable.
