Faux tortoise shell bangle bracelet​​​​

Faux tortoise shell bangle bracelet. Hand carved unknown material with painted tortoise shell pattern. Beautiful lacquered surface. About 1/2” wide and about 3” diameter. Very light and thin. Looks like it could be horn or plastic? Nice casual accessory.
