@resellinmama hi! so usually people use it by sweeping it in the air over your body, home. or other areas you want to cleanse, visualizing the broom sweeping away negative energy. I'm not sure about the history of this particular stone because it was a gift, but in general, Black Kyanite has been a favorite among crystal lovers for centuries. It is believed to be one of the oldest gemstones known to man, with records going back as far as Ancient Egypt and Rome. I hope this helps 💓
