Offering a vintage/antique orphan plate lot in green tones. The lot includes two (2) J.G. Meakin - dinner plate and side plate, in different patterns. Dinner plate - J.G. Meakin, Hanley, England with a mint green border with roses and vines. Kiln marks on back of plate. Marked on base with maker in banners. Plate has heavy crazing. Measures 9.75” dia. Side plate - J.G. Meakin, Hanley, England with green ferns with blue hydrangeas on border. Centre decoration of roses. Measures 8” dia. The lot also includes a square scalloped plate marked Royal Staffordshire Pottery A.J. Wilkinson Ltd. A wide mint green border with purple and green floral sprays. Measures 9.75” x 9.75”. Lastly, a square salad/sandwich plate marked Wood & Sons England with a crown decoration in a banner. A gold and bright green border decoration with a centre floral spray in a circle. Base embossed I37 and 21. Measures 8.5” x 8.5”. Beautiful green orphan lot for display!
