VGUC 1950 American Legion Youth Convention pin from Chicago

Beautiful collectible vintage metal and green enamel pin! From the 1950 American Legion Youth Convention. There's a district listed on the front, and "Chicago" is printed on the back. Appears to be metal similar to a penny, and is small, about 1" tall and across. The front is in excellent shape except some loss of gold color to lettering at the bottom. The back is in okay condition (that white part is glue for the pin). The pin stem may be able to be cleaned up a bit more, but I personally had a hard time cleaning it without getting anything on the enamel. Overall Very Good Used Condition!
