Pilbara Agate Australia

Amazing! This is the oldest Agate! Dated back 3.48 billion years old. These agates are known for the shadow effect (parallax) in the banding and little pyrite flecks throughout. This piece was mined about 50 feet from the original vein and was found with black mineral most likely hematite which makes for the unusual color of the Pilbara. This piece is approximately 9 ounces and 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. We attained these from a family of miners who actually mine, cut, and polished their pieces. Spiritually, Agates are known to carry ancient knowledge and bringer of good luck.
