Blue and White Mini-Garden Stool

Elegant ceramic jar with intricate blue Asian-inspired patterns on a white background. Glazed inside and out. Now considered decorative objects, the larger version of such garden stools were used in courtyards and gardens as resting places or footrests. This jar has raised nailhead trim around the bottom and top, bamboo and vine patterns in blue around the entire jar. Top is fretted with air-holes and four pretty blue flowers, and the bottom is open. Vintage! Perfect condition. No cracks, chips or breaks. Comes with its teak base that has an Asian-inspired cutout design around it. Smoke-free and pet-free home.
