Little Black Dress 

No doubt about it, definitely little on me 😅 Thankfully I don't have to show you my legs! About 10 years ago I found a little silk cami in a similar design. There is something about the repeat & the straight across neckline that I really like. It's a classic & is still with me to this day. Naturally, this dress jumped off the rack at me. Now let's talk textile. It's made from triacetate, the bomb in my opinion. Here's why; It's made from wood, it has good elasticity (means a wee bit stretchy), it resists wrinkles. In the design industry it's used as a substitute for silk, for good reason, because it mimics a silk crepe. Also the construction is correct. It consists of the top band layers being sewn to a thin lining, they overlap by 3/4". This means it doesn't add any bulk to the silhouette despite the layer aspect, it is still trim. It's adorable, it's a classic! Coco's Bust 35.5 - 36" Waist 27.5 Hips 37 I think you could go up to a 38" hip & 37" bust as long as it isn't tight around your waist & hip, you good.
