I bought thinking they were wide calf. No dice, they are 9 Wide in the sole. They feel like a regular 9 though. They are a little tight across the foot. I'm supposed to be an 8W and they are tight across the toe box on me. I recommend these to an 8 or slender 9. the shaft is regular size. The shaft is 8" across. the heel is 3" tall with a half inch lug sole.
