Vintage Petit Nantucket Basket souvenir jewelry trinket box, circa 1980s. Collector's item. I have seen this basket with various different lids, depicting lobsters, starfish, periwinkle shells, oyster shells, sand dollars and conch shells. Perfect to add to your existing collection, or even begin a new one! This adorable vintage Nantucket Basket Trinket Box is crafted of a textural cream resin that feels like plaster, with lovely authentic details including woven wicker, whalebone clasp, scallop shell lid, and rattan lashing. The trinket box measures 4.5"w x 3.5"d x 4.5"h with the handle fully extended. Excellent condition. No chips or flaws. Some sticker residue on bottom I'm sure would come off with a little Goo Gone.
