Reverse Hand Painted Chinese Prayer Beads Bracelet, 18 Beads

This is a 18 bead vintage reverse hand painted prayer bracelet, or Chinese Buddhist prayer beads...The wrist Mala. Each bead is hand-painted by Chinese artisans. For these, I believe the interior bead is wood, which is painted and encapsulated in the outer glass bead, but I am not sure. They are unique. These beads, also known as mala beads, are used in Buddhist practices to help focus the mind during meditation and prayer, to help maintain single mindedness.
