Philip Treacy Wool Boucle' Trilby BNIB

There are a few differences between the two, The Trilby is the more feminine, sophisticated version of a Fedora. The brim is 2" and the back rolls down in the back. At the edge of the brim, it is curved slightly all the way around called a pencil curve. In this case, Philip has chosen to make the crown taller so he could create the dramatic pinch or "twin peaks" effect. The hat is created of a tiny-nubbed 100% wool boucle' which gives a wonderful textured background for the dove-grey grosgrain band. The band is finished with a dramatic intricately folded bow held in place by the Treacy trademark, a Unicorn rearing up on its hind legs. The interior band 0f the hat measures 22.25". To measure your head, hold a tape measure just below your hairline on your forehead, around to the back of your head just below your ears.
