Gorgeous Lightweight Tahari Sheath Dress

This piece doesn’t look like much hanging, but whoever created this simple cut knows the female form! It’s like magic how it fits and flows without bunching or pulling. It was the dress I wore to my first day as an editor at a magazine and I wore it many more days to the office after that. It has cap sleeves, a v-neck, and a single (unlined) layer of magical silk-like fabric that never wrinkles or needs ironing AND is machine washable. Its predominant color is black, and from far away appears black or dark green, but has an all-over textural—almost marbled or snakeskin look—all over. It looks great both with a belt or unbelted. Sadly, I’ve outgrown it and so would like to pass it along to another lucky wearer. It measures 24” pit to pit and 32” from the v-neck to hem. I am 5’10” and it hit right in the middle of my knees. There is no sizing tag, but this dress fit best when I was about a size 12-14. It has been gently pre-loved, but shows no signs of stains, snags or other wear.
