Rare PARAGON Double Warrant Wide Mouth Floral Bouquet Gold Teacup + Saucer Set

Very beautiful and elegant champagne, gold and white vintage Paragon Double Warrant set, produced circa 1939 to 1949. This set is very rare and hard to find. Both the teacup and saucer are heavily decorated with an ornate gilded floral design in gold; the center of each piece features a beautiful floral bouquet motif in shades of yellow, green, purple, pink, white and blue. The teacup features a wide mouth Avon shape with lovely gold accents with a scalloped pedestal base. The duo appears to almost sparkle in the way that the gold was applied. Marked “PARAGON - By Appointment To H.M. The Queen & H.M. Queen Mary - Fine Bone China - England Registered” and “7216” underneath each dish. This set is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, staining, discolouration, etc. Measurements: Cup: 2 1/4" inches height x 3 7/8” inches diameter x 4 7/8" inches length including handle Saucer: 5 1/2” inches diameter Vintage china often has small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
