I included another photo of the zipper fully zipped. This fabric has no stretch. I bought this for myself and had the intention of taking it to a tailor shop to have the waistband removed, some of the fabric let out and a new waistband attached to fit me. I never got around to it, but this is your chance if you love this skirt! Such a job would be completely doable by a professional tailor, circle skirts like this have a ton of fabric gathered into the waistband. It would be an expensive job, my guess is minimum $50.
