Chinese reverse-painted snuff bottle in perfect, like-new condition in its own embroidered fabric box. Locking mechanism and stopper are in perfect condition, too. Flawless. Comes with card announcing the snuff bottle collection and explains how reverse-painted snuff bottles are created. It’s elegant, ancient-looking, and artistic, yet pocket-sized and unique. One side of the bottle depicts colorful blue birds resting on a tree limb, eyeing pomegranates on the ground. The other side depicts blue birds in a garden surrounded by a large pumpkin, pumpkin flowers, and a baby pumpkin. There is abundance in this beautiful Chinese garden. This is a “new” snuff bottle, made approximately within the last 25 years. No chips, cracks or breaks. Perfect condition.
