Roseville Pottery Donatello Low Floral Bowl 54-8 1915 With Flower Frog Early

In the 15th century Italian Renaissance, the master sculptor Donatello was one of the most revered sculptors of his time. Frederic Hurton Rhead designed this line as a bright and shining homage to both the master and this remarkable period of Italian history. This bowl, number 54-8, is in remarkable condition. Nothing but extremely light crazing near the rim. It is so large, that I have actually captured it with a measuring tape for your consideration. Three inches tall and 8 inches across just the rim alone. It's matching flower frog has visible crazing and a single tiny flake reflected in the photos. The frog is 1.5 inches tall and 3 inches across. A wonderful piece of antique American art pottery from my heart to yours.
