Vtg 1949 Reversible Chinese Silk Jacket Med Red Black Embroidered Dragon Floral

This incredible 1949 Reversible Chinese Silk Jacket was originally acquired by my Father while stationed in Japan after World War II. Crafted from luxurious silk brocade, this jacket showcases traditional Chinese embroidery and exquisite craftsmanship. Vibrant red silk side with intricate tone-on-tone floral and dragon embroidery; the reverse side is deep black/brown with golden floral embroidery. Traditional knotted frog closures, two front pockets, and quilted trim. Likely 100% silk or a high-quality silk blend. Loose, comfortable fit typical of mid-century Tang-style jackets. There is minor wear and discoloration consistent with age, but there are no major rips or tears.
