This Drumming Starter Lit With Vic Firth Sticks, Practice Pad, Stick Bag, And Books is perfect to get your little drummer off to a great start. It’s got everything they need and the 2 books are some of the most-used and loved books for teaching basic beats and methods for over 3 decades. The practice pad does turn on and gives a louder sound when striking it, but we preferred to leave it turned off (when I was learning as a kid, my pad wasn’t fancy like the new ones!). I chose the 2 Vic Firth 5A drum sticks personally to ensure they have the appropriate resonance together as a set. The stick bag has hooks to set up under a drum kit stool.
