These colors are as shimmery and super shifty; cool as moonlight and warm as a psychedelic forest the next. I adore the thought and energy Mama Pat put into these Motherships. From the heavy lacquered black case, which at first glance appears to be the Pandora's box that holds the secrets of the universe, to the weighted metal bottom, and the beveled mirror inside, these palettes are works of art. And the shadows. Sigh. These formulations are like no others, not even like the ones she is making in palettes now. I think it must have been too expensive to continue to make 4 pans like this, and it is a shame, because there is nothing like these Italian baked shadows. This is the OG box with the tie front that feels like you are undressing delicate lingerie when you open it. Full size, 12.9g / .45 oz. One of the corners is damaged (see pic) and the shadows have natural variations as they are poured and baked. Made in the Italy.
