Vintage Large Black Bear Plush Joimted Arms And Legs Signed Densely Stuffed 20”

I believe this bear may be an artist original, he has suede-like paws and one of them has what looks to maybe be a signature “by George” possible? He has soft black fur and is densely stuffed. His eyes are a beautiful rich medium brown color May be some minor use wear, no major flaws that I can find. Please see images for details.
