The pictures on the brown floor are distorting the color, but was the only place I could lay them out for pictures of the entire sweater. I called this color mauve. 100% cotton I do not see any flaws or rips. They are not visible to me, however, in such a lacy, crocheted fabric, there may be some loose threads. I have not touched them or pulled them.
