992 Artisan Vase Deborah DD Tinsman Tribal Ceramic Pottery Vintage Signed Art Isn't she lovely? Organic elegance! Rustic and refined, artisan, handmade beauty by Deborah D Tinsman is a well-known artist from Bucks County Pennsylvania. This hand thrown vessel is in excellent vintage condition, and decorated with Tinsman’s signature etchings and sophisticated tribal sgraffito design in shades of brown, and brown/black. The piece is handmade and signed. There is one nick on the underside of the top lip, but it blends in well. Please zoom photos for more details as they are part of the description. The clay showcases organic etchings, earthy colors, and measures approximately 6" tall and 5" wide. A lovely wedding, anniversary, housewarming, or birthday gift. This has been in my family since we purchased it in 1993 at a gallery. Sadly, we no longer live in the Southwest, and this no longer fits with our coastal aesthetic. Ms Tinsman studied ceramics at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is known for her handmade pottery featuring tribal sgrafitto designs and earthen colors.
