Signed Vintage Ornate Casket Jewelry Trinket - Chest Box Repousse - Red Velvet

This is a beautiful vintage or antique jewelry trinket box with a design of a Victorian chest box stamped Japan. This jewelry trinket box measures approximately 3” Tall x 3” Wide and 4” Long. The depth inside the box is approximately 1.5" deep. This jewelry box is in excellent vintage condition. All of the legs are intact and the hinged lid is in good functional condition. The inside of the trinket box is lined with red velvet that is in good condition but may show some signs of use. There also may be some discoloration on the silver as would be expected for its age. I believe it is from the early 1900s. . This piece looks lovely on any vanity or dresser.
