Vintage 1940s Book, "Lord Hornblower", C.S. Forester, First Edition

Wonderful vintage book from the 1940s by C.S Forester, "Lord Hornblower". Navy blue clothbound with gold gilt and a illustrated dust cover. First edition. Measures 8.25" x 5.5". 318 pages. Excellent vintage condition. Some mild marks on the cover. The pages are intact but slightly yellowed with age, and a pencil mark from a previous owner in the front. The dustcover shows a lot of wear, tears and so forth. Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected.
