These are flavored with a thieves blend of essential oils: lemon, cinnamon leaf, clove, eucalyptus and rosemary. The base is a mix of beeswax, coconut oil, unrefined shea butter, vitamin E oil, castor oil and grape seed oil. NO lanolin, NO mango or avocado butter because people are often allergic to those. They aren't Burt's Bees. They are softer and will start to separate over a long period of time so that they get waxier. That is part of not using preservatives. I've never had a problem with preservation as they contain a good amount of vitamin E and absolutely no water. I've been gifting and selling these for about 8 years now and people always ask for more.
