I bought these size 9 leather Polley Mary Janes and tried to paint them, but something went wrong and the paint flaked all over the place. It can probably be removed, or if you want to do something else with these— bedazzle them? Collage them? The sky’s the limit!— you could do that. This is the cheapest pair of unworn Docs you’ll find, probably. I just don’t have the patience to soldier on with them. My loss is your gain! These are as shown: covered in silver glittery paint that has flaked off in many places and continues to flake off even more.
